Hi friends, This week I’ve been soaking in the warmth, sunshine, and the beautiful buzz of life coming back to the streets of Lowertown. Being out and about—visiting the farmers market, connecting with community, and taking slow walks in the sun—has sparked a lot of reflection and creative energy for me. I’m feeling inspired by the season’s reminder of self-growth and hopeful manifestation. The light is bringing clarity, and I’m channeling that into my newest work—honoring softness, transformation, and resilience. If you’re out this weekend, come say hi! I’ll be showing my work at Art-A-Whirl at Amuse Studio in the Thorp Building: Friday: 5–10pm Saturday: 12–8pm Sunday: 11–5pm Hope to see your lovely faces and share some new pieces with you. With love and light, Maya Boo

Hi friends, This spring has me blooming with inspiration — I picked up my first bouquet of the season from the St. Paul Farmers Market and have been deep in a new floral mixed media piece. These works are rooted in both nature and the unapologetic feminine experience — full of texture, color, and emotional honesty. I’m nearly finished with this new piece and can’t wait to share more soon! In the meantime, you can find my work on my website, on Instagram @booculturestudios and at two amazing local spots: 🎨 Art-A-Whirl 2025 I’ll be showing at Amuse Studio – Thorp Building, Studio #240 during Art-A-Whirl weekend, kicking off May 16th! 📍 1618 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413 🌸 Owl’s Eye – Lowertown St. Paul I just set up a fresh shelf of smaller original art at Owl’s Eye — featuring myself and other local makers. Stop in during open hours to browse or buy! 📍 340 N Sibley St Unit 103, St Paul, MN 55101 Thanks for your continued support — it means everything. Hope to see you soon! With gratitude, Maya Boo

Hi beautiful souls, I’m feeling so grateful (and honestly a little emotional) as I get ready for this year’s Spring Art Crawl at Tilsner Artist Lofts, happening April 25–27. I’ll be showing on the 3rd floor hallway, surrounded by so much talent and community. I’ve been pouring a lot of love, reflection, and energy into what I’m bringing — a mix of my signature mixed media and wearable art, plus a few new things I’ve never shared before: notebooks, bags, and phone cases featuring my artwork. It feels really special to see my pieces transformed into things people can carry with them. Spring feels like the perfect time to reconnect — with art, with each other, and with the purpose behind creating. I’m especially excited to talk with folks who stop by — about the work, about what it evokes, or just about life. I truly believe in art as a bridge for real conversations and healing. You’ll see new floral pieces to honor the season, as well as older work that still carries deep meaning for me. Every piece has a story — and I’d be honored to share them with you. Thank you, always, for showing up for me. I hope to see you there — to share a moment, a laugh, a conversation, or a connection. With so much love, Maya Boo @booculturestudios

I’ll be showing my work at Tilsner Artist Lofts, April 25–27! I can’t wait to talk more with you at the event, hear your thoughts, and just share space in creativity.
